Introduction to Milano Gallery
by Mark Wilman
A visit to Milan last May caused me such emotion and pleasure that I couldn't stop using my camera phone, spending hours on foot each day enjoying the beauty before my eyes. The weather was glorious and perfect for photography.
Having been in less intellectually active environments for a considerable amount of time, it was the dish I needed and have cherished it ever since. To celebrate, my editing fingers pushed virtual screen buttons to the extreme creating post card appearances typical of Greece, which suited me just fine.
I found the city busy and happily so. Familiar faces carried welcoming smiles of encouragement, new faces took the time to explain facts in detail and loved ones were happy to see me.
Milan is right to pride itself for what it is and stands for. It's a city of advanced freedom both focused on itself and welcoming.
